Monday: forgotten backpack

walkitoutLast night’s oatmeal raisin cookies are great.
T. forgot his backpack, so I walked it over for him. I thought about driving but it is breezy, nippy and very crisp out there. A hat and dark glasses to foil the sun, and it really is the perfect day for a walk.
I’ll be headed out with M. soon, but in the meantime, I’ve started laundry and called the storage place since I’d seen no reply to the email I sent on Thursday. I talked to someone, learned the person I’d sent the email to only works Tuesday and Wednesday, and was directed to someone else who coordinates interstate moves. Perhaps this is progress.
The movie theater was quiet last night, so they sent T. home early and we did family zoom. He was going to stop doing the zoom at all, and I was like, oh no, if you can’t host it on Sundays normally (he is often working Sunday evening), I’ll take it over again. Given the recent shenanigans with MIL that are very, very clearly attention seeking, taking _away_ the one form of attention I’m totally okay with directing her way on a weekly basis seems like a terrible idea. Honestly, I should have been hosting it whenever T. couldn’t, but no one asked me to, so I was like, whatever.
