Treasury notes financial industry’s move to cloud means if Microsoft / Amazon / Alphabet have a significant Disruption, that would be bad for the financial industry.
To be clear.
(1) That would not be the first thing I’d be worried about.
(2) You mean they just now noticed.
(3) Have they figured about number 1, tho?

ETA: I asked my husband what he thought would happen to the competitors if one major cloud provider went down. He said, they’re all good about eating their own dog food (industry jargon). I’m like, sure, but you really don’t think they really on any critical service from anyone at all that in turn relies upon a competitor? He didn’t have to think about that long at all.
