walkitoutA week ago, I ordered a 3 pack of FixnZip. My ancient purple winter coat’s zipper slider completely self-destructed. The rest of the zipper seems fine, so I looked around and got the repair kit. It arrived today. I opened it up. R. took a look but punted until later so he could go ride. I thought, hey! Uninterrupted figure it out myself time! Yay!
Super easy. Really happy about all of this. I may or may not have better pulls from when I replaced some zipper pulls on luggage zippers, and one of those might be better than the ring they supplied with this, altho the ring is just fine, too.
I had almost gotten rid of the coat once before, because it looked terrible, but I ran it through the wash before donating and it looked great after so I kept it. I almost got rid of it because of the zipper, but I hate to donate non-functioning items. And with the zipper fixed, honestly, I am just going to keep it. I love the color.
