Transition Day
Dec. 29th, 2022 11:00 pmB. said they’d be at UO at 10 am, which felt awfully early to me so I said we’d get there by noon, and possibly earlier depending on when T. finished up. He wanted to go into Hollywood Studios (we had a reservation) to do Tower of Terror, his last ride at Disney not yet done this trip. I didn’t feel like getting up insanely early to hang out in a hotel lobby and I had temporarily forgotten that we would have access to the concierge lounge as well.
Anyway. We got there before my sister’s family (but well after 10), checked everyone in, dropped the cold food and A’s bag and my bag at bell services, and bought 3 passes. R. still has an unused UO annual pass. (In addition to the unused DisneyWorld pass.) I also bought 4 2 day tickets for Rachel’s family. They can add a third day on day 2, assuming they still want it.
A. and I had lunch at Jake’s, hung out in the concierge lounge, and then switched to our room. We eventually had dinner at Islands with the rest of the family. Everyone else went into the parks, except R. who rode his bike.
