Thursday: squash, gnocchi

The leftover squash in the fridge had developed mold, so I composted it. Then I took the acorn squash and the other squashes (sunshine kabocha?) and put them on a cookie sheet in the oven at around 300 degrees. I took them out … later when they had slumped over. I peeled and seeded them, froze one of them, put the rest in the fridge. I later took the fridge stuff back out, took about a cup of it, and combined it with flour and an egg, kneaded it into a dough, rolled it into a snake and cut off bits and boiled them. My theory was that this would be gnocchi. I ate the gnocchi like substance in the gumbo like stew. It was all quite good, altho it was all more gnocchi adjacent than actual gnocchi, and gumbo adjacent than like actual gumbo. 8/10, would do it again.
I did genealogy with T.
T. and I scheduled a CVS flu shot for him the Sunday of T-weekend.
I walked with M.
I did the 1 mile loop twice by myself. I chatted with my sister. Later I chatted with Priestess.
I did some laundry.
It was a nice, quiet, relatively relaxing day.
