walkitoutSunday was busy!
There was a morning zoom to discuss options for FIL; there have been some falls and other health events.
There was a portal playdate and a regular family zoom.
R. took A. to the Beede center (2 days in a row!), and they got a family changing room so she showered and he did her hair there. Nice!
I took T. out to Holyoke. We met S. and T.’s cousins. We had lunch at The Dam Cafe, which is good; it’s another example of order and pay at the counter, food is brought out to the table. Instead of numbers, they handed us toy animals to put on the table — a dinosaur and a ram. Kind of awesome! We bussed our own table. It was good and I would happily return, so now we have two options near the Children’s Museum to eat at. Pizza D’Action didn’t open until noon, when the museum opened, or we would have gone back there.
We went to the Children’s Museum. It got crowded after about an hour. It was fun — kids had a great time and T. enjoyed talking to S. Obviously, I enjoy hanging out with all of them.
I did not walk with M, but I did the 3 mile loop by myself.
We noticed the carousel was open, so we went over there and everyone but me rode it twice. Fun! I got pictures and video. It’s a nice, historical and well cared for carousel.
