I’m increasingly convinced I’ve been fighting something off, tho; I now have a crick in my neck. It wasn’t there right when I got up. Our recent houseguest tells me she has tested positive for covid; I don’t really care, and I don’t think she caught it from us. She had told us that her recently previous visit had a bunch of people wind up testing positive. *shrug* Hopefully all will be well. She’s due to return home to Florida, but I’m betting based on Ian that there will be a delay there, too.

I stayed up once I got up to do A.’s hair, and watched yesterday’s TRMS and NCIS. I walked with M. I’m debating the relative merits of doing laundry vs. taking a nap.

I decided to try making phone calls today. I’ve got a problem with the expiration date on some passes, but they don’t really want to deal with anyone until after Hurricane Ian (hard to blame them). Verizon wants to do an ONT upgrade, so that was my next effort. I have scheduled it, which feels like an accomplishment. The woman I talked to _tried_ to upgrade my bundle, but there were not any great offers that netted out improvements at the same or better price. I need to ask R. if we own our own router or not — currently, we are not paying on it. Alternate bundles add router rental. If we own ours, then one of those bundles actually would make sense for us.

I’ve also been deleting email, which always feels mildly productive.
