A Nice, Quiet Thursday

I bought some holiday presents. I’m not done with the list, but definitely making progress.
A variety of things were picked up by people, and I have more pickups scheduled over the next few days. The excess holiday gear in the basement is pretty well cleared out, which is extremely glorious.
ETA: I had two dining reservations on on the same date later this month. I couldn’t figure out how to cancel either one of them without calling, and I’d never received an explicit confirmation on one of them, so I was thinking I’d just stall for a bit. And sure enough, today, one of them called me and said the restaurant was going to be closed that date. Fixed that conflict! And in the direction I was leaning anyway. Caller was extremely grateful that I was understanding. LOL
