I am still alive! I am not in the hospital nor am I traveling. I apparently got a little busy. I will attempt to reconstruct what happened!
Today, I drove A. to school, because R. finally got an appointment with the hematologist. In terms of getting off the blood thinner, the news is not good. And the doctor, according to R., had no useful advice regarding the issue other than things he was already (not) doing: he exercises, does not smoke and is at an appropriate weight by medical standards.
After I dropped A off at school, I drove to the house. I ate my lunch while doing the meetings and then we waited for S. to arrive and we walked around. Fun! Neither of the N’s showed up. The architect had car trouble, so we got E. instead. And the kitchen N wasn’t able to make it after all. I’m feeling very optimistic about S. doing lots of beautiful work for us.
I had a long, delightful phone convo with my friend A. while driving back. We are going to work on setting up a weekly chat-and-workout-together-while-apart time; she’s found a place near her house with a stairclimber which she prefers to a treadmill.
My appointment with the dermatologist was moved to later in the afternoon on Thursday, which is completely fine by me, altho it will mean I’ll be driving A. in to school most days this week, instead of picking her up.
