Monday has so many conversations
Feb. 24th, 2025 11:00 pmI started the day early with a phone call from A.’s school saying her first class (spanish) was canceled due to teacher illness. That’s great; we can sleep in. Except not really, because then the doorbell rang. The folks who installed the heat pumps had sent someone over at R.’s request. He thought he put it on the calendar but it sure wasn’t there and we forgot. I showed him up to the upstairs heat pump after making sure R. was awake and decent.
I also called my new PCP’s office and made an appointment to see a NP there on Wednesday. They would have gotten me in Tuesday, except I have a meeting in Florence that was hard to get set up and I’m not messing that up now. I called my dermatologist and made an appointment with them on Thursday. As I expected, they want to get a look at this before committing to excision the following week. I’ve created a Note with the timeline on this medical roller coaster and am trying to maintain it with how things are going as they evolve. I suppose I could collect the pictures I’ve taken and insert them in plausible locations.
I walked with M., and it was warm and I wasn’t worried about ice. There’s still plenty of snow but it’s easy to avoid.
Finally, I did the book group I canceled last week. It was lovely to chat with all of them, and we picked out a book for next month that I bought in 2021 and still haven’t read, the Wisteria Society for Lady Scoundrels. Should be fun!
