A. did her playdate online. Yay!
Family zoom was small but enjoyable.
I had a delightful zoom with I.
I worked on the bar layout. I’m not overjoyed with the front part of the bar; it feels rickety and a little weird, but R. is pretty happy with it, and we will probably evolve it and it will improve. I’ll feel better when I understand how the wall between the fridge, sink, etc. and the stools — the thing that holds up the counter — will work.
I learned about Everblock today, and I would love to use that for the bar wall, but it’s pretty clear that’s not gonna fly with R. Oh well!
When I was looking for shelving for the back bar — I ultimately just drew what I wanted, which is hilariously reminiscent of what N. does when he can’t figure something out — I ran across Lundia. I want to use that for all the closets. It looks amazing. I might or might not use it for the bar itself, but it gives me a baseline for, well, if nothing else works out, and we don’t want to commit to a fully custom option, we can do that.
