Monday: meetings
Jun. 3rd, 2024 11:19 pmA. only had one class today, and she got all her homework done for tomorrow before I picked her up. So yay!
R. drove out to the house and stood on the foundation and felt good about how things are shaping up. Yay! I attended the OAC and the MEPFP and the lighting meeting. All went well. I’m still really not at all sure about the LED strip lighting controls requirements (honestly? Pretty sure that no one is sure about those). But the person the architect delegated the lighting schedule to seems to understand what I’m proposing and isn’t too weirded out by it, which is good enough for me.
We went to Welly’s for dinner. The fans are below the lights and it was causing a bad flicker so I put my cap on, and it was loud, so I put my airpods in and turned noise canceling on, and I felt so much better and also it raised a lot of questions in my mind about why do I even go out to dinner, but then also the food was great. I had fish tacos with onion rings, and we got chocolate avocado ice cream (vegan) with pb sauce and that was, as always, divine. The only bummer was Medusa isn’t open on Mondays so we couldn’t buy beer. It’s fine. We have plenty of beer. But we were there, so we tried. Oh well!
