M. came by and I wrote a check for her nonprofit and fed her lunch. It was a salad, and chicken broth with gnocchi. Simple and tasty!

The piano tuner came by. That was fun.

I worked through what would be involved in the proposed LED strip lighting if we did it all with Philips. I am NOT suggesting we should do that! And also, yeah, once again, way, way, way too much of it. I got so frustrated with the gigantic conformance set PDF and it just not being easy to navigate on the iPad, so I went to print out a half dozen pages so I’d have printouts of drawings that have the measurements on them, to go with the RCPs so I could figure out the approximate length of strips needed in various locations. Unfortunately, even tho I picked a range, it wound up printing the entire thing. We had to put more paper in. Oh well! I now have all of it I guess. I also learned about Litcessory, which is an important component of minimizing controllers in situations where there is a gap between strips but you could otherwise power the length involved.

We also talked about the music room, and whether R.’s computer was really going in there. The music room is a really great space, and if he uses it as his office, it’ll be much harder to use it for what it is designed for. And I’m getting really excited and happy about what it is designed for. So we’re going to share the office, and figure out how to have a work table with really good lighting so that can be where he sews. And his computer will be in there, and mine as well, and various office related things, but NOT his exercise bike/Zwift setup (that goes in the exercise room) and NOT my Lego, since there are other places to display that.

It was a pretty good day! I really should find some way to view that PDF better tho.
