We caught up on daily laundry relatively quickly, and today we did sheets. While our hopes for No Lint have been smashed — we had this idea with no vent, our lint woes would be reduced, but that’s not really true. It’s more a matter of the invisible, truly scary lint woes are eliminated, but the right in front of you lint is very much there. Very much.

I’ve got a little backlog of things we bought that have never been washed (I bought a set of onsen waffle towels after debating it for years, yes, please make all the waffle jokes; also there are some sheets that T. received as a holiday present that have yet to be washed), but that and the sheets in the dryer right now are about it. Very pleasant! It has _quite_ the spin, which I need to tell my sister about, so if you do wash-only, it is amazing how dry things feel coming out. Not dry, just really spun out.

R. decided to do some kind of cleaning operation on the sofa downstairs and it smells horrible. I’m going to take A. out to dinner, since R. has a race (on the indoor bike and Zwift) so he’s not interested. T. went to see Beekeeper again, and I was going to go see it with him but I looked at other films by that director and concluded that while it was likely a ton of goofy fun, it was maybe a bit more violent than I really enjoy these days. That’s not a moral judgment; that’s a visceral reaction.
