We met BC, his wife R. and his younger son G at the Ballard Locks. We’d been debating what to do, and ultimately settled on this. It was mildly fun, and educational. It was interesting to see that the structure had not really changed since I was last there, but of course now what had been signs were big monitors playing explanatory and educational video material.

We went over to Fisherman’s Terminal to eat dinner at Chinook’s. That was weird — I have been back post-divorce, but not often. There was only one clipping on the framed review wall that was from after I moved to New Hampshire the first time. But the food and service are still good, and the view remains excellent.

Unfortunately, A. had a headache and felt nauseous later. I think she might have my shellfish allergy, and got some cross-contamination on the fries. Bummer.
