Taking a day off
Dec. 1st, 2022 01:19 pmI went to bed really early (like, 5 pm early, altho I got up to get a snack around 7 pm because I hadn’t had any dinner) and then slept in really late (11 a.m., altho I got up a little after 7 to do A.’s hair and while I was up I had a roll for breakfast, but didn’t have tea until later). I had been stumbling more than is usual for me, and occasionally feeling a little light headed the previous day or two, but it got really bad and I didn’t want it to turn into vertigo again so I just went to bed. I didn’t sleep all the way through (in addition to getting up, there was some wakefulness) but I stayed down and in the dark, and I’m better today, altho still having more than the usual amount of tippiness. I had been having some unexplained itchiness on my right shoulder, which is super unusual for me, but could be lymph related. I definitely have some kind of sinus thing going on.
So I canceled my walk with M., which is my only scheduled activity today. I’m still working on dismantling the Colosseum, and hoping to get that done today. I have 3 bags left to go, so fingers crossed.
I’m doing the sheets for A. and me, because it’s been over a week, even allowing for the time we were away and allergies can definitely make anything else worse at least for me.
I will say this — I have functional enough proprioception _now_ that I notice when it deteriorates. So there’s that.
