No school today.
It’s totally wrong, of course, to wish a “Happy Yom Kippur to those who observe”, so I won’t do _that_, but probably everyone is grateful that it is almost over? Actually, it is after dark so it is over as I type this. The guilt fest can officially end.
A. was up in the middle of the night with cramps so I gave her a junior advil and had her sleep the rest of the night in my bed. The jr advil worked, so, yay!
I slept in, because that was a lot of disruption.
Verizon people arrived to swap the ONT.
Before that, Lenovo tech arrived to try to fix the not functioning touch screen. The plug wasn’t seated correctly and unfortunately, both the existing screen AND the replacement screen were broken during the attempted repair. *shrug* oh well! It’s going back. Again.
So it was a very busy day.
Also, I dropped A. over at K.’s, and retrieved her a few hours later. In the meantime, I took T. to 110 Grille and we had a nice late lunch / early dinner. We got Wally as our server again; he is completely awesome.
T. and I did some 1950s census stuff on ancestry, attaching it to people in the tree. Also, we went over to M.’s house and picked up the mail and a package for her mom.
I still don’t understand why the day was so busy. Altho now that I look at that list of activities, it is starting to make sense.
