Wednesday: I don‘t even know any more
Sep. 7th, 2022 07:55 pmI went to the dentist. I love my new car because it loves the freeway. Hopefully, there will not be a lot of tickets in my future. The dentist was uneventful.
I walked A. in to school, since I had to be up to go to the dentist anyway. I also wound up picking her up at the end of the day. I drove in for that, because she was tired. I got her through her homework, which included reproducing the domino experiment data collection she failed to do in class because her perfectionistic tendencies got in the way. Weirdly, we owned dominos (fruitominoes). I took pictures for her culture slide. I talked her through her math. I _want_ her to work on a typing practice thing, because she keeps talking about wanting to learn to type, but I am not convinced I have the energy to get her to actually do it.
I also walked with M.
I did a long walk, chatting with R., while it was still light out, because it _was not hot_. Yay! When I got back, the kids all had a stack of things they wanted from me. A. said her friends are going to some thing in Boxboro this weekend. She also wants another water bottle. I‘m going to loan her my Klean Kanteen (insulated, 20 ounces, wide mouth). If she likes it, I‘ll get her a pink one. T. found some form from Roche Bros — job application related. He wanted help with it. I pointed him at R. I also pointed A. at R. for help regluing the decorative cover on the cap on her WDW water bottle.
R. grilled chicken for A., and a steak for us; I did sides (the last of the mushrooms, gnocchi, red sauce with half a poblano and some fennel).
I had a great convo with J.
