Monday: school has resumed
Apr. 25th, 2022 02:01 pmI walked A. to the first intersection and across. I ran into a couple different neighbors (one from Lothrop, whose extended family has houses across from each other, and one from across Prospect); turns out they both go to the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) so I will have to permanently continue to be very cautious about what I say around them. Yikes!
M. met me after dropping her kids off and we walked the 1 mile loop twice. Delightful!
I walked with M. and we did our usual walk and had snack and chat and played birzzle.
I had more of the leftovers, which I think uses up almost all of them. I’m thawing burgers for dinner, since I think T. will be around — no sitter until Wednesday or Thursday, IIRC. I’m thinking maybe we should all go out together on Tuesday or Wednesday.
On our recent trip, I decided my next focus would be on getting the stash of crap in the basement that was To Be Donated _before_ the pandemic hit, actually get that packaged up and out the door / to recycling / to trash, depending. I’ve got a couple boxes ready to go. I really should collect the To Be Donated or Sent to My Sister for Resale out of the upstairs closet; maybe in a bit. I’m also doing a little laundry.
I think I’m caught up on all my backlog of TV shows — I watched Last Week Tonight this morning, which was about confessions, and wow am I glad that show exists and is Doing the Good Work. I also watched the most recent 2 episodes of season 2 of The Equalizer. I watched last night’s NCIS:LA, and I got all caught up on TRMS over the weekend.
Sorta feeling like a nap now, then A. will be home and the homework routine will restart.
