It’s nice to see coverage in at least some areas tie today to the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the importance of passing it. That is absolutely crucial and must happen.
No school today. I took T. to his swimming lesson and R. took A. to get her booster. I stopped at Twin Seafood on the way back from the swimming pool and picked up takeout. It was yummy and there are a lot of leftovers.
Book group was mostly about possible books for the next few months, and somewhat about _A Universe of Wishes_. That sparked limited conversation, however, it was a really useful book in that it was an accessible format for the members of the group to try reading a much more diverse type of story, with more diverse characters written by more diverse authors. I’ll have to think a bit more about how to combine accessibility with, for lack of a better word, hookiness.
