Tuesday: no sitter, quiet day
Jun. 28th, 2022 04:21 pmT. did not have a sitter today; they did get back within 8 hours (barely) yesterday. Since tomorrow will also be a no sitter day, I’m feeling optimistic about this proposed transition. R. took T. driving this afternoon.
A. only has two more swimming lessons in this first set (the other set is in August). She’s settled into the routine very well, and seems to be enjoying the lesson. She’s also getting more independent about dealing with her hair. I’m still doing a lot, but less than before. With hair as long as hers (once again, waist length when unbraided), it’s a job.
ETA: I finished _1491_ finally. It was really worth reading. I started _Out of Stock_ by Dara Orenstein, which two different people brought to my attention via a Miriam Posner tweet (Miriam Posner’s recent piece about issues with Agile as a management tool was really good!), turned out to be not at _all_ what I was expecting. It’s about foreign trade zones, and the time frame ends in 1989. *sigh* I’m sure it is awesome, but not what I wanted.
