Monday: Transition Day within WDW, Epcot

Checkout from BLT. R. dropped A. and I at Epcot; I helped get some luggage into the car along the way. He got the rest, and delivered it to bell services at the Poly, where we are staying for 2 nights. My sister’s family is off to Tampa to visit friends of theirs.

We got Ratatouille!

We also did: Test Track (we got to do the design, unlike April, but it didn’t load properly), Seas with Nemo, Soarin, Living with the Land, Journey Into Imagination, the Mexico Ride. We ate at Regal Eagle BBQ.

I got a brief soak in the plunge pool

Dinner was back at the Contemporary at California Grille. A. likes boba pearls (not sure this is a good thing) and pineapple — she says it tastes like granny smiths, which is not wrong. T. was very whiny ; he had not eaten much and was hyperfocused on getting a cheese pizza he’d gotten years ago at the California Grille.

I had a delightful sushi appetizer, a Not Good ravioli (too cashew “cream”-y), and an amazing donut with blueberry gin jam and blueberry coconut ice cream. The chianti was too dry for my preferences, but was drinkable. The old fashioned was awesome.

Sunset at California Grille was incredible.

Fireworks viewed from the Poly were amazing, as was the Electric Parade.
