The 3rd day was supposed to be the Day at Sea, but was Castaway Cay. The weather was perfect. We had so much fun. This time, we had pre-ordered our allergy meals, and we had food delivered, and there was so much that A. ate some of R’s chicken and our fries, and all was well.
We floated in tubes, and I had to retrieve A. from the line. My tube was abandoned and hopped the line. Oh well.
We all went to see Believe. It was pretty bad.
I never did bother to go up to the outside part of the concierge lounge with the hot tub. No motivation. I could blame the motion sickness meds, but I was really enjoying napping. Hard, really, to express how awesome the napping was. I did go for walks on Deck 4.
Yesterday, my sister’s family got their pictures taken at Shutters. We were supposed to also, but A. freaked out because she wanted her dress and sweater cleaned. The room host delightfully took care of that, so we had the pictures done today with my sister’s family and lots of subgroups. We came back after dinner. He uses a totally black background, and ‘shops everything not black, and he shoots black and white, so it creates a polished look, regardless of what kind of hot mess is going on in the colors of the clothing in the group.
Anyway, pretty funny that after years of trying to coax my sister into getting pictures of her family taken again, she wound up more or less making it happy. I bought the digital session. The guy running the place was a little startled — he has trouble selling it apparently.
I also bought the full set of photos taken of us on the boat, both drives for pickup tomorrow.
