Saturday: We Fly to Florida

We had car service. It was threatening to snow, and we almost had to go through de-icing, but in the event, nope. Just a delay on departure. No problems getting our van. The woman who collected ID and payment commented that all the corporate customers use the card on file and decline gas, and all the vacationers use their own card and say yes to gas. We are vacationing as if we were corporate, but equally obviously NOT corporate. Interesting!

We arrived. We got takeout from Thai Thai III, which was crazy slow, so the McDonald’s for A., purchased before that, was cold and needed to be reheated. Bummer.

Thai food was awesome, as remembered.

We heard on the night of our arrival, a SpaceX launch. Ooops. Should have stayed up long enough to see it, but did not realize there would be (should have realized — weather was good, and they launch continuously).
