Thursday: puttering
Nov. 4th, 2021 09:29 pmI’m trying to get all lessons in Duolingo Dutch to level 4. I’m close, and really that’s all I’m doing now.
I did some vacuuming: the stairs, the kitchen, a couple bathrooms.
I did some laundry.
Today was a no homework day, due to Diwali. That’s nice. Also, it gave A. an entire afternoon to do the English homework she did not do yesterday, because with her afterschool session with her math teacher, she had way over an hour of post-school homework and also date night.
Tomorrow we’ve got an appointment with the IRS to deal with that ID verification letter we got. They’re not answering the phone, and our efforts to deal with it with either of our IRS accounts have failed. I have no idea what’s going on over there, but I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Hopefully.
That appointment overlapped with my Friday morning walk and talk with L.; she has been on a roll with her writing, tho, so she canceled. It also overlapped with my Friday morning phone call with K., who is in the middle of a massive project for her mom, so she canceled. That worked out.
I’m thinking about doing a massive clearout of the basement, so we can set it up for VR. Hmmm.
