Wednesday: phone calls

I had a delightful zoom with I. She is back in the swing of things at her university. She commented that it feels very crowded, despite big drops in enrollment two years in a row.
I talked to my sister, who is not feeling well. The circumstances of not feeling well were pretty stressful and she was inclined to chalk it up to that, but it did not _sound_ like the stress was causing the symptoms, so I encouraged her to stay home tomorrow and get tested.
Also, I’m reading Jane Ward’s _The Tragedy of Heterosexuality_ and it is so many kinds of awesome it is difficult to describe. But I will figure out a way to do that!
