Friday: piano lessons, driving to NJ

Everyone but me had zoom piano lessons, and then we piled into the van to drive over to Hudson to get McD’s for lunch. Then it was off to NJ. It took a little over five hours. No major traffic or anything, just some steady congestion at the usual points. When we arrived, J. cooked us dinner. It’s nice to see three of the K. family; A.K. has moved to Massachusetts, so hopefully we’ll see her some time soon as well.

We checked into the hotel later. We have units on top of each other, and the people next to A. and I are really loud.

A. had been really looking forward to swimming, either at the K. house or at the hotel, however, Aunt Flo visited and so she is really not feeling it. Oh well!

We did Fancy Friday late — 10 pm E. — once we got back to the hotel. 4 people besides R. and me; that was nice.
