Piano lesson was delayed by an hour (and then we were 15 minutes late) and virtual (I didn’t realize it was virtual, so that was about 8 of the 15 minutes, and the other 7 were setting up for virtual). I went to Nara to walk with two of the women (and one daughter each) of the women I used to do Thursday morning mom’s zoom with. Delightful! The girls collected flowers and one made a flower tiara for the other. It was lovely, and felt very Midsommar (yeah, not the horror film! Geez!).

Over at Bloomberg today, there was a really interesting detailed article about Revel, a mobility startup in NYC, DC and maybe elsewhere, and safety, regulation, and changing business practice to deal with problems. It is remarkably sensible in many ways, in that it shows the tradeoffs and complexity, but also shows people on every side genuinely trying to make things better, and the tension there. It isn’t going to be easy, but the future is going to be a wonderful place to live in.

I finished the Lego World Map!

That was a lot of lego. I’m going to take a few days off before opening another box.
