Saturday: the weekend of cancel
May. 29th, 2021 12:21 pmNo martial arts, so also no Vic’s. Which is fine! I went out last night; two days in a row (or, as was the case last week, twice in one day) is too much anyway.
Track tomorrow is also canceled.
In theory, I may be having friends over this evening, however, it is possible that the weather will suspend that plan; their kids are too young to be eligible, and I’m not sure how they are feeling about indoor socializing with one shot so far slightly older kids.
Today is the day most of the Massachusetts covid rules ended. Very exciting! Still gotta bring a mask everywhere, because plenty of places still require them, and guidance is still for not-fully-vaxed to wear them indoors (which would be the kids, for another couple weeks, not that we ever go anywhere anyway).
I went through my shoes (at least the ones in the closet) and tried a bunch on and looked at the soles and all the usual Do I Really Intend to Ever Wear These / Again? rules. I bagged a bunch up for donation, and now the remaining ones all fit on the shelves again. I know, it won’t last! I’ve already ordered one replacement pair of sandals.
T. is headed out to a movie today, and R. is planning on grocery shopping. I may do a donation run later — it’s just clothes, shoes and a book, so not a lot, and can all go into the boxes rather than a full run to Savers.
