A Bit More About That Book

At that previous entry, I made a few remarks about the book by the new Senator from Missouri, and his book, which was supposed to be published by Simon & Schuster, and which had been canceled. I snarked a bit about an article which compared the Missouri Senator’s book publisher to the Texas Senator’s book publisher.
Well, in approximately the least surprising move ever, they now share the same publisher. It’s kinda hard to boycott Regnery over this book, because anyone who might want to boycott Regnery for that book probably was never gonna buy a book published by Regnery anyway.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens next, tho. Regnery’s method of doing business as a publisher is probably not unique, but it is very weird (basically, if every bookstore on the planet decided not to carry them, it would likely not impact sales particularly).
For those keeping track: Regnery is part of Salem Media Group. Dennis Prager (of PragerU) is on Salem Media Group stations. It would be _really useful_ to direct a lot of attention to Salem Media Group, PragerU and Dennis Prager. More people need to be aware of what they are doing.
