R. took T. to track in the morning.

R. took A. on a bike ride in the afternoon, while T. was out on his bike with his friend S. The house was delightfully empty. I took a nap. When people came home, I went for a walk and got back before it was dark. Aahhhh. I got A. in the shower, after Family Zoom, minus MIL — R. forgot to start it and I arrived back 10 minutes after start time, but I got to chat with both SILs which was awesome. One of them went out to Sandy Hook with her family and they rode bikes; it sounds really nice.

I got A. through the shower. She wanted to put it off, but I was like, no. And after, she raved about how great she felt. *eye roll*

I changed the sheets for 3 beds today, and while we were at it, R. set up my mattress. It is awesome! The smell is pretty minimal, compared to the smell from the memory foam mattress we got from Costco back in 2004/5. He had bought mahogany deck boards to support the mattress in the existing bed frame (like, 2 inch spaces between them or thereabouts). He did not bother setting up an actual bunkie board (no strapping or nails or whatever), just dropped the boards into the rails and then we spaced them out once the mattress was on them. While there was no mattress, we vacuumed the frame and under the bed — the frame really needed it, but the under the bed was surprisingly clean. Apparently I am doing a good job on keeping up with that part of cleaning.
