I walked with M.

I walked with A. (went up the hill, turned around and came down, got water and sprayer and cold pack, then walked over to the campus and back).

I had phone calls with two BILs, texts with overlapping two BILs, a phone call with Dr. M at AR. I _think_ a decision has been made about what happens next with the BIL I did not talk on the phone with — he has a choice of a place in Florida for 3 months (sun! Which should help a lot, actually), or go it alone. On balance, I sorta hope he goes it alone. I _think_ the family is on board with stopping all support, so a meaningful bottom might happen (in AA parlance). Also, the odds of him getting stabilized on various public services are increased on this route, which would certainly be cheaper for me and would probably also be more stable. But I think the Florida choice is a better one (more likely to stay alive, for one thing), if he can stick it for the whole program and then cooperate with whatever they recommend for followup. I would be happy to make sure that visitation happens (take the kiddos to WDW! So much fun that would be!) at 2x yearly intervals or whatever makes sense. At this point, I have made the decision I was responsible for (which is between CT and FL or punt to the person who will be doing the program — there was no way in hell I could make myself pay _even more_ for a place in CT than AR cost and he was going to pick CT, so I basically had to pick FL). It was an emotionally exhausting day for _me_, and I am not even in the center of this emotional shitstorm.

My Priestess was super awesome and listened to me, which I value enormously.

We also had family photos taken in our front yard, a little earlier than planned because the storm system moved and screwed with the light (and rained a bit). Looking forward to seeing the results!

T. went out with the sitter before photos, then did photos, then went with R. to do 2nd to last trail run. When he had lunch with the sitter, he forgot his credit card. We will have to get that tomorrow.

ETA: My flashlight black light arrived so I pointed it at things around the house. The results are about what you would expect: whitening toothpaste fluoresces, laundry detergent fluoresces, lots of splattery fluorescence around the downstairs lav toilet and the green bathroom toilet — but not much in the master bathroom toilet. Bleached white TP fluoresces — as does the dust from it. And if you clean a surface so there is no more fluorescing, and then you turn the lights on, wow, is that surface clean. It turns out that janitorial / cleaning services have been using this trick for a while to train / supervise their employees. I would have done that!
