I took T. to martial arts. No one there but the three of us, and total physical distancing AND masks. Ludicrously clean. That felt super safe and I did not feel like we were endangering anyone else, either.
I had a lovely phone convo with M. She is so much more sane than I am, that I often user her as a sanity-meter: she just does not have crazy opinions or beliefs. I do not always agree with her — we are different people and I am way more crazy than she is. But when I do agree with her, I feel a lot of confidence that whatever we are thinking / feeling is going to be a pretty widely held and/or respected opinion or response.
And boy, I think she is even less impressed by the hybrid back to school options than we are. Which is saying a lot.
The dracaena arrived! Well, one of them. It is very cute. R. repotted it and it is sitting on the kitchen window sill (which is shaded from direct sunlight by the covered park of the deck. The pot is decorative enough to look good in the zoom. *jittery with excitement*
ETA: I did NOT walk with M. She has been driving up to Vermont with her family on some weekends as a day outing, and today, that, the weather and my nap meant no walk. I did, however, have a 3 mile walk while I was on the phone with M. (Not my walking partner.)
