Day 2 of Minecraft camp has gone very smoothly. A. came down for lunch, and later came down saying she was building a kitchen in minecraft and wanted to make sure she did not forget anything. Art!
I walked with M. I continue to wear a mask around her. I have only taken my temp so far today; no symptoms of anything.
I wanted to mail a couple packages, but one of them (returning a book to the library up in Mayberry, which is over a pound) cannot be covered with stamps and put in the mailbox. Hrm. I wondered if there was a pandemic exemption; nope — in fact, the stamps limit is down to 10 ounces as of last October, apparently. But this does not apply to Click n Ship customers.
What’s that?
It requires an account. Oh wait! I Have An Account! Fuck, I have an account everywhere. When I die, someone is going to have to shut down hundreds of accounts. Not my problem!
Anyway.
I went through the really not too bad process, slapped the label on the package, and put it on the counter to go out for its scheduled delivery tomorrow morning. I had no idea Click n Ship even existed. Pretty cool, tho! A real game changer for holiday photo mailings, assuming I get to do a holiday photo mailing, because that is based on getting family photos taken which could be ... interesting.
I walked with M. I roomba’d the downstairs. I am almost caught up on trip blogging.
Oh, and I made park reservations for our next Disney trip!
