Friday: walk, phone convo
Apr. 17th, 2020 11:18 pmFriday is planning day, so no school. Both kids received information about their distance learning adapted IEP, and more specifically, log in information for Boom Learning for their speech. T. did his; I figure I will have A. work on it when she gets bored.
A. wanted more stuff to watch, so I pointed her at Gnome Alone, and Minecraft Story Mode. She then found a Carmen Sandiego TV series to watch.
I had a nice phone conversation with K.
I had a walk with M.
We had Dress Up Fancy Friday cocktail hour, which was fun. I got out a head / hair thing, not really a tiara, but in that same general area (it was from when I married R., and attached to some other stuff). It looked really nice, but started to itch and when I took it off I realized it had dented my head slightly. Oops!
R. went to the grocery store to replenish yogurt, green apples, american cheese, baby carrots and some other things. He also hung the cork board I got, so I put up the box of disney pins from recent trips that had been awaiting space for display.
It was a pleasant day; not entirely certain what I did with most of it. Even listing it off, I feel like I have forgotten something important that I did. But maybe I just did not really do much of anything. Which is also fine!
ETA: Oh, I am in the process of setting up a weekly family Zoom, at the request of a family member who does not want to deal with the technical aspects herself. And my son wanted to try lifting weights with me, which he knew I had done a couple times with A. That was fun.
