Poking at the files

I noticed that my top file drawer has gotten sort of full. This is because the Disney trip file folder (containing a lot of papers from previous Disney trips) got really full again. So I went through, pulled out page protectors full of receipts and other ephemera from recent trips, made sure I actually blogged about the things we did on those trips (surprisingly, I had fairly detailed entries for those trips. Go figure.), and then threw away most of the receipts and kept a small amount of the ephemera. I had already done this for the most recent trip (and even photographed by day the receipts, because there were unusually few of them).

As my daughter would say, it was very satisfying. Also, it kept me from going to third floor, firing up TurboTax and entering things into that. Which honestly, I would rather wait a bit to do because March often brings download revisions and that is sort of a pain.
