While we probably could have wedged in more park time, after 6 days, none of us really felt like it. Also, if T. or R. had gone in, we would have had to get them another ticket; A. and I had flex passes, but we would have needed a reservation. Complicated!

Anyway. In the event, everyone preferred a leisurely sleep, followed by breakfast and packing up.

We drove back to the rental car place, stopping for gas on the way. Traffic was fine. It was sprinkling, but nothing serious.

T. went on to the gate by himself; the rest of us stopped at Rock and Brews. I would happily go to that chain again. I had a really nice green salad with strawberries and avocado — very California, very tasty. I will miss the avocados most; the ones that make it to New England just are not as good.

The flight home was fast. We arrived 45 minutes early, so we had to wait for the flight before us to leave the gate we were assigned to.

There was also a delay with car service. Terminal C has construction going on so the pick up lot has moved into central parking and it was really jammed up — had been all day apparently as everyone got home from a week vacationing in sunnier places.

We were all pretty tired, so going to bed was easy, even with the time change. I got mostly unpacked, but did not attempt laundry. R. left some bike clothes behind accidentally, but did manage to get the nice set home.
