In Which We Take the Train to DC to Spend Winter Break With My Sister

We took the Acela from Rte 128 station to Union Station in DC. I did some day drinking. We make some plans for what to do the next day. I had two rounds of the chicken curry, since the vegetarian dish had soba noodles (buckwheat hates me — I love buckwheat, but it does not love me).

We rented a van at the station and checked into the Residence Inn in Fairfax near my sister. R. went over there to pick up the folding squatty potty I had ordered sent to my sister so we would have it for A. That was a winner — and it folds down small enough to think about packing it on future trips.
