T. had track today.
We went to Papa Razzi after.
We stopped at CVS and picked up the 8x10 I had printed from the digital school photo for A., and I put that in the frame on the wall. I think I am now mostly caught up on photo projects (it is not possible to be fully caught up on anything like this, obviously).
We also picked up some things for an upcoming birthday party (not for another couple weeks).
Tomorrow, I need to call to schedule T.'s group swim lesson. I have been undecided which of two nights to aim for, so T. and I spent a chunk of the time at lunch and driving to CVS figuring that out. Then we went over it with R. I think we have it, but of course it depends on actually getting the Wednesday slot that we want. If we do not get that, there is a Thursday slot, but it is a lot more inconvenient. Doable, but inconvenient.
I also worked out what we will be doing over the next couple of weeks for Thursday, since that day has been particularly troublesome to schedule with the sitter. T. also has an upcoming dentist appointment that is at a slightly inconvenient time re: his school and getting a shower before driving up there, if the sitter takes him. I will try calling to move it back a half hour, otherwise, I will have him get out a bit early that day to shower before going to the appointment. Fingers crossed.
That was enough complexity of scheduling that I now feel slightly numb.
I started reading the Lecky book I got from the library. Not sure what I think about it. Some of the basic ideas are pretty characteristic of the C part of CBT (if you can help a person to incorporate a desired change into their conception of themself, it will work; if it cannot be incorporated, it probably will not stick, and you will def encounter a ton of resistance) (a lot of what seem like personality traits are more situationally dependent than might be initially apparent) (identification of mental health issues occurs overwhelmingly in a social context).
