Saturday: martial arts, Vics, Savers
Aug. 3rd, 2019 03:34 pmToday, I took T. to martial arts. Then we had breakfast at Vic’s. It is nice to get back to a beloved routine.
This afternoon, I noticed that I still had an item for us to bring bikes to Savers in the spring. Ooops! Perhaps it is not too late in the year. R. brought the trailabike to the neighbors, and brought the girls bike and a bunch of other items (tools, kitchen knives, backpacks, clothing) to donate. Here’s hoping they take all of it. ETA: They did! Woot!!
I finally sat down and looked over my credit card account, which I knew had one problem, and suspected of having another. I had tried to correct a duplicate charge with the vendor, but it was not showing duplicate in their system so they could not reverse it. I disputed that charge with the bank. Hopefully, this will get it figured. While I was there, I confirmed that the refunds I was never sure if they had actually happened or not from canceling out on the Hershey cabins in favor of the Bluegreen resort in Hershey. That was fine. Finally, I noticed a double charge at Hersheypark, and disputed that. All kinds of fun there. At least no fraud — just mishaps associated with known problems. In one case, the payment system crashed at the vendor mid-charge. In the other case, I had called in a changed number for a recurring payment and it charged the old card and the new card.
We are also working on getting the stuff on T.’s school computer account migrated to his home account so he continues to have his saved work.
Laundry, dishwasher, stripping beds, making banana bread, as well. Busy day!
ETA: The banana bread turned out awesome (no sourdough, just a quick bread). We had dinner at Julies (minus T.) and it was lovely altho bittersweet. Got to hug a lot off people and shared contact info with many.
