Monday: no Dutch, walk
Jul. 22nd, 2019 02:11 pmDutch was canceled.
T. went to ESY and the checklist I set up to make sure everything went in with him that was supposed to go in with him actually did. Yay!
I got A. through the shower and hair washed.
My mill is acting up. This is potentially awesome, in that it would justify buying a KoMo Classic to replace it. Because oooooh, pretty and quiet and continuous feed and will not heat the flour up at all, according to reviews.
I did manage to get through it enough to start a sourdough dough ball rising for a loaf. I used some white flour, which will not hurt. I then put the sourdough starter into the fridge to slow that whole thing down until my mill is working more predictably.
I also ordered a 15 pound bag of Turkey Red berries. I have been thinking about doing this forever, but had a huge bag of Eden Organics hard red. But with all the baking, I am basically done with it. So, yay! I finally get to try a varietal wheat with a personal connection!
