Saturday: tarot and thai food
Jul. 20th, 2019 11:00 pmMy niece came to visit my MIL, and I got to hang out with them, too. We all (except T.) had lunch at Julie’s, altho the AC was not working. Yikes.
We had takeout from Benjarong for dinner.
In between those two meals, I made some cocktails for my niece and me (my MIL does not drink, so we had her try Seedlip. She was unenthusiastic, however, my niece liked it, so we sent that home with her along with a top hat that I never wear for her husband B. My MIL was looking for a bookmark, so I gave her a fancy one I never use.
The tarot was a blast. M. said she had not done her birthday spread yet, and MIL wanted a reading. M. had not brought cards, but I have a couple decks so I offered those up and we wound up using the mini Rider Waite. Which I have probably spelled incorrectly. We had a blast. M. is super cool, inclusive, and experimental with spreads that she finds online. She is very intuitive, and a lot of fun. I love doing tarot when people do it in that way generally; it can be stressful for people who are very serious about the details and standard interpretations.
