I took T. to track. It was coming down pretty good on the way, and I had to clear the car when track was over. AJ wants T. to have real running shoes that fit correctly and will help with his gait. We will work on this. Of course he has many questions.
He went to see How to Train Your Dragon Hidden World later on; R. drove him because I really didn’t want to do any more of that. My car is actually really good in the snow. I really fucking hate being on the road with other people in the snow, however. Sunday morning right after daylight savings time switchover in the spring wasn’t even as quiet as I would have expected.
I didn’t do any laundry today, however, the kids both got showers, and R. put the last of the mattresses (no one in that bed got bites) in an encasement. It is a platform bed, so less clear how to trap it. He has some sort of plan involving blocks of wood.
Absent more bites or seeing bugs or evidence of bugs, I think we are now just waiting for enough time to elapse to have some confidence that everything that is going to hatch has hatched and failed to feed and thus died without reproducing. Probably 3-5 weeks from now. But while T. wants to undo everything ASAP, I’m not going to. I really _like_ not having to take allergy medication every night because I start sneezing when I get into bed.
