Animal Kingdom today: we had Expedition Everest, Primeval Whirl and Flight of Passage FP. A. and I successfully found the bus and rode it in. She bought a bubble wand in Pandora. All 4 of us together for Flight of Passage. We got all 3 fast passes today, altho it was looking bad. We did primeval whirl, then Everest was down, so we got her a mickey bar, I went to the bathroom, and were trying to figure out if we had time to do what R. and T. did, and do the safari ride, but then Everest came back up so we did that. A. And I were early to Yak and Yeti, so A. got to do a couple penny squashes (they are in with the coins in your purse; transfer them to the squashed penny cases) which she has been asking to do but we haven’t had time and inclination at the same time. Yak and Yeti was good — I had a Snap Decision. But next time (if there is a next time) hammer home the idea that the chicken for A. must not have grill seasoning on it or she won’t eat it. Then we all went over to Pandora.

We left the park after that, to be back in time to meet H.. R. drove, so we three went in the van; T. stuck around to do Lion King fast pass (I had swapped the rest of us for Primeval Whirl — I swapped all four but had to put his back because he wanted it). He joined us later, and we all went over to dinner on the monorail.

R.’s uncle H. showed up slightly late. I did some laundry. A. got in the plunge pool. I soaked my feet while we chatted on the deck. R. shaved his head and neck. H. brought the backpack that was too small for C.’s Africa trip. I think I’ll bring it into the park tomorrow. It is a nice size, with exterior pockets.

The Wave completely screwed us over. They got T., R. and A. right, altho T. asked for non-multi-grain bread and wound up eating the gluten free happily (go figure!) and he had a grilled cheese sandwich too. He complained because they brought him out free kids app (celery and carrot sticks) but then ate them all. All. Including the celery, which he says he doesn’t like. I wound up served an old fashioned with crap cherries, when I was trying to get a manhattan with luxardos. *sigh* R. got an old fashioned on the rocks, which would have been better. Oh well! No one got the business like H., tho. They completely forgot his meal, and then abandoned us for 15 minutes after we asked about it. I finally waved down a manager who was bussing a table and it got fixed — no charge at lunch for the second grilled chicken (at Yak and Yeti, when A. didn’t like the marinade), no charge for H.’s dinner. I’m doing a lot of straight 20% tipping on the original price.

A. wanted dessert and I distracted her with a second Mickey bar to get out of there. This was probably a mistake.

They watched the electrical pageant from the porch. I’d already seen it, A. watched it a second time, and R. and T. watched it the first time. I hadn’t realized they wanted to. We also watched some fireworks. Really really really amazing view.
