Tuesday’s Snow Storm
Feb. 12th, 2019 04:00 pmBecause the snow came in the middle of the day, the morning’s activities were not particularly affected. However, I still did not get my walk, because T. had an orthotics appointment. They gave advice on which OTC rigid orthotics to buy. I am on the fence about whether this whole strategy is really worth it, but T. is definitely on board with it, so okay.
M. did come for a visit later.
In between, however, T. and I had lunch at Julie’s Place, which was closing at 1 p.m. T.’s gymnastics was canceled due to the storm. Both kids had half days, so we picked A. up after lunch. I somehow failed to send back the IEP amendment paperwork months ago, so I signed that before picking her up.
The sitter canceled due to snow.
The snow did actually arrive between 1 and 2 p.m. Which is good. Because everyone would have felt pretty foolish if we’d canceled everything and it had just, say, rained.
