We had room service breakfast (French toast for A., bagel for me and a couple eggs).
Today is Castaway Cay day! So we had lunch at Cookie’s, for special meals for R. and me. It was all fine, and I did get cole slaw.
Dinner was at Royal Palace, and they brought me a pizza, with fries and the daily veg, on a kid’s plate. It had daiya cheddar on it. It was okay. I ate about half, and my sister and niece tried some. For my meal, I had the grilled tofu and vegetables. That was pretty good. I got out before they could find a dessert for me. It is surprisingly difficult to avoid food on a cruise, even with a food group allergy.
Parasailing was canceled due to wind. Mostly we played in the water with tubes. I had a caprinhia at the cabana. A. tried snorkeling very briefly, but decided she didn’t care for the taste of sea water. I can’t blame her. It was pretty windy and so the visibility was crap anyway. I initially thought it was too cold but I go used to the water pretty quickly. It was one of the better beach days of my life — I really don’t like the beach and it is hard to find a day where it isn’t too sunny / hot but is warm enough to get in the water. When it started raining more, we headed back to the boat and soaked in the hot tub. We probably should have showered first; I think we left some sand in the hot tub. Ooops.
We played more backgammon. I really like the Sondergut board I brought with me.
