Even tho I could have gone to Dutch, I did not because now that I am feeling better, predictably, other people are not. Oh well!
I did some laundry.
I finished _Glitter and Glue_. It’s probably a really excellent memoir, but I can’t quite get past the either/or nature of the narrator, her mother, and their relationship. It works for them? I guess? But flipping between Life Happens When You Leave the House to All the Important Stuff Happens Indoors seems like a weird black and white where one is absolutely not called for. Perhaps only portrayed that way, a dramatization to make a point? But it really did not work for me. I can tell it is well written and engaging. It will be interesting to see what book group makes of it.
Both kids in school again today, even tho both are still coughing. Fingers crossed.
I got a walk with M., and I walked once around the block by myself. I also ran one errand to Colonial Liquors.
