Friday’s Activities Include: steamy rain, book fair

My garage has been running colder than the outside today and it is _wet_ outside. So every time I drove out of the garage, it condensed all over the outside of the car. Wipers help, but only if I remember that the defroster won’t!

I was at the school 3 times today. The middle time was because A. really wanted me there to pay for the books she picked out at the book fair. This was no Scholastic operation — it was Silver Unicorn. All kinds of interesting things.

I think I need to quit eating clam strips. Something disagreed with me, and since it wasn’t nausea or vomiting, I’m suspecting a lactose / milk exposure. And the only obvious candidate would be the breading on the clam strips. *sigh* Everything else was what I usually eat. I suppose I could have picked something up from one of the kids — except they actually haven’t been sick.

I picked up the pictures today! Inevitably, as soon as I send in the holiday cards, I finally get the really nice photos. Oh well! When the holiday card order arrives, the extended family gets prints from the photographer along with the holiday card. No duplication this time in terms of pictures between the cards and the prints. I dropped the two triptychs off at the framer. I put the family photo into the frame from last year’s family photo and put last year’s family photo into the portfolio. Got a nice little pipeline going there.
