I took the kids to Altitude for a play date with T.’s riding partner A. We had lunch at McDonald’s after. I really like the kiosk ordering system. I’ve started really exploring the possible modifications, so I’m not just removing the cheese or whatever — I’m removing salt, pickles, ketchup and adding lettuce, tomato, mayo. The sodium drops a ton, the calories go down with the cheese, and it just tastes way better. I had known they were putting burger salt on when the made the burger but this is the first time I’ve figured out a way to have it left off. This is now a burger that doesn’t leave me feeling weird after. I actually _like_ it. Who knew?

No horse because so many people out of town.

R. got a bike ride while we were out. Then he took T. to Littleton to go paddleboarding. Alas, the Long Lake Concession had ended, so they wound up in Groton at Nashoba Paddler or something like that instead. They had a good time.

I got a walk with M. A. is reading the American Girl book about puberty that recently hit its 20th anniversary; seems pretty good.

Here is a review of _The Care and Keeping of You_. We got the ebook version and she has been reading it via the kindle app on her iPad.
