Most of us had breakfast at M66 (R. and T. did not -- T. threw up during the night) I. texted bailing out on activities due to feeling unwell. I canceled her out of both activities with no problems. She ultimately did join us for dinner at M66, and said this would be her last day with us, since she was going to drive down to Grand Teton for her last day of the trip. It's been really great getting to hang out with her, and she's been a super good sport about the madness of participating in a family vacation.

We went to Lake Yellowstone and did the Scenicruise. It was full, except for that one seat. The woman interpretive ranger did a nice spiel about the history of the park / transportation / etc.

We had lunch at Lake Yellowstone Hotel in the dining room. It was very nice -- I got their take on the red lentil soup and it was very different from M66's but tasty.

We went to Canyon Corral for horseback riding. I could tell as soon as I was up on the horse (yeah, that was difficult. I'm not that limber and while I am within the weight limit, I'm not that light) that I was going to have very sore sits bones afterwards. Things went okay, other than I struggled with getting my horse to stop snacking. A change in line order helped a lot. It was a pretty ride, and there was a several moment period in the forest when I felt a strong sense of deja vu. I've _never_ done a long trail ride before (a couple pony rides as a kid, I think all in a ring), so this isn't an actual memory. Cool feeling.

We were a few minutes late back for our dinner reservation; I. made it there first. Busy day! This is all of the scheduled activities. We have one more day to spend looking at stuff; my goal for that is to see Old Faithful.
